We've all seen those beautiful, but really expensive
mixes in mason jars at the stores.
From cookies to soups - it's all packaged and presented
so adorable. Easy to get and give and quite pricey....
But it is so much more fun to create them yourself!
The care you take when crafting a gift will put a smile not
only on the face of the lucky recipient but also in their
hearts!
Here are some photos, recipes, instructions and also a
few ready-to-print tags to attach to jars.
I will be posting more recipes and ideas in the near
future - come back to check often! Have fun!

When it comes to decorating the jar tops anything goes!
Fabric circles (about 6 inches in diameter) are pretty and you can match the fabric
to any occasion or holiday. Hold the fabric down with the metal ring  (if using
mason jars) or fasten with a simple rubber band.
You can also use a circle of craft, wrapping, or scrap booking paper as a "topper" for the jar - possibilities are almost endless.
Then decorate with ribbon or raffia, tying a knot, slipping the gift/recipe tag over
the ends a

nd tying a knot or bow. Simple and beautiful.
Tags can be either handwritten or printed. Use card stock, specialty papers,
business card stock, or simple brown craft paper cut to letter size (8.5" x 11") - it
will work in your printer like a charm.
